Thank you to everyone who came out to take part in the Murph on Memorial Day! Some did the full workout, some did the half, some modified … but everyone busted their @$$. Kudos to you all. Jenna said it best before the 8am … when you’re tired and don’t think you can push forward, think about what Murph endured and keep moving.

We announced it briefly earlier, but we are going to be having a BBQ at Lewis-Morris Park here in Mo’town on Sunday, June 7th. Families (and pooches) are invited! We have an alcohol permit, so drinks are permitted (and encouraged). We will be providing the staples (dogs and burgers) and we are asking anyone coming to please chip-in by bringing a side dish, a dessert, and any other meats or specialty grill items you would like to have. We hope everyone can make it!

We are also excited to announce that we will be kicking off our inaugural yoga class at CF13S on Saturday, June 20th at 10am (immediately after the 9am class). We are going to plan a monthly yoga class at the gym through the spring and summer and our hopes are that if it is well received we will be turning it into a weekly thing in the fall. The class is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. So, if you have a friend or family member who is interested in trying CrossFit make it a double-header with the 9am intro WOD and 10am yoga class!

We have announced our 10-week teen fitness program starting in June as well. If you have interested teenagers, and have any questions, let us know. More info can be found here, and there are discounts available for teenagers of current members!

We also have a college student program that started on May 15th. The program is a 1-time payment to span from May 15th to August 31st. It includes intro classes (if needed) and unlimited weekly classes. You can find more info about it here.

Monday – benchmark (Murph)
Tuesday – strength (power clean + snatch)
Wednesday – skill work (core work) + long metcon
Thursday – short strength (split jerk) + short metcon
Friday – skill work (core work) + long metcon
Saturday – Intro to CrossFit (individuals) @ 8:00am; Intro to CrossFit (partner WOD) @ 9:00am
