This Hammerhead Fitness article, “Setting Fitness Goals“, touches on some important aspects when working towards a goal in the gym. The two that should be paid some special attention are “Work with a coach to develop a plan” and “Work outside the gym” because it’s possible to spin your wheels without seeing much progress if you haven’t consulted with someone who knows a little more than you do AND don’t just rely on time spent in the gym to help you get closer towards the goal … homework is not a bad thing.
