I know there are a number of strongman-type websites out there (Talk To Me Johnnie, Eat Big Lift Big, etc) that feel that drinking large quantities of milk is a great way to get in protein and good fats, but I think there are plenty of ways to get those same quality macronutrients without ingesting large amounts of dairy. This New York Times article feels the same way.

Almond milk will provide you with more calcium and none of the lactose. If you haven’t given it a shot yet, please do. Silk’s Dark Chocolate is almost a chocolate milk shake. Do yourself a favor and pick up a half gallon. You can thank me later.
