Any website called “I F*cking Love Science!” has to have legit information on it right? Liz sent over this link about how beneficial endurance training is to your health and fitness and overall ability withstand things like disease down the road. And where I do think exercise is important, their claim that “aerobic” exercise the way to go I’d have to disagree with. Aerobic exercise is typically defined as a continual movement for a long period of time, where anaerobic exercise is defined as short intense workouts … which is what we aim to accomplish at CF13S. According to CrossFit, “Compound or functional movements and high intensity or anaerobic cardio is radically more effective at eliciting nearly any desired fitness result.” Aerobic is can be beneficial, but you don’t want that to be the majority if your training regiment.
