20min EMOM
3 farmer’s carries (75/55) (min 1,5,9,13,17)
5 burpee pull-ups (min 2,6,10,14,18)
7 double KB FS (35/26) (min 3,7,11,15,19)
9 ring rows (min 4,8,12,16,20)

To clarify, in the 1st, 5th, 9th, 13th and 17th minute you will be doing the farmer’s carries, for example. You will be performing each movement 5 times during the course of the workout.

The topic of “toughness” has seemed to come up a few times in conversation in the past couple weeks, and coincidentally I had just come across this Art of Manliness (which is a great site btw) about being strong vs. being tough. The article talks about both physical and mental toughness, the definition of them, and how you can go about working to improve both. Give it a read, and think about the points being made next time you’re in the later minutes of an AMRAP and need to find that mental strength to keep pushing forward.
