Week of March 17th

Congrats on everyone who took part in the Paleo Challenge. Some great strides were made in both the weight loss and benchmark times … and I think everyone can agree that while we were sticking to it, we felt a whole lot better. Our biggest goal for this challenge is for everyone to think twice about foods they are buying and eating, at least consider an alternative to something they may reached for without even thinking twice about it before we started the challenge. Now that it’s over, if you are going to re-introduce non-Paleo items back into your diet, please do it slowly. It’s amazing how fast your body gets used to not having cheese and sugar. The final tallies are still not in yet, but the top 5 will be released as soon as we know them.

On Tuesday we are going to be taking on the “Rowing Nancy” as our new monthly benchmark test. So, if you love overhead squats and rowing, come on down, as we will be testing and re-testing in a month to see how much we have improved with these two (2) movements.

Saturday – Intro to CrossFit (individuals) @ 8:00am; Intro to CrossFit (partner WOD) @ 9:00am
