Week of September 29th

We are all one week down in the Paleo Challenge … and from I have heard things are going well. How is everyone doing? If you are struggling, reach out and ask someone who may have an idea how to help. Don’t sit back, get frustrated, angry, crave something unhealthy and then give in. Stay focused. Stay the course. And most of all … stay organized. The kiss of death in the Paleo Challenge is not staying organized with your food.

On Sunday, October 5th from 1pm to 2pm we are going to be leading a CrossFit class on the lawn at the Vail Mansion as part of Be Well’s WELLNESS: MO’TOWN fair. Come on out, see what Morristown has to offer, visit some vendor tents, visit our tent, and you have a chance at winning a free month of classes … by taking part in an exercise challenge, of course! We will be giving away a free month to a male AND female member, and free On-Ramps and a free month to a new male AND female member. So, if you have a family member or friend who may like to give us a try, have them come out, compete, and possibly get in the gym for free!

A number of our members have asked for it, so starting this Thursday we are going to have Open Gym all day during class times. Come to any regular scheduled class and work on a skill, work on a lift, make-up a WOD you missed and wanted to do, or work on a WOD for an upcoming competition. Up to you. Please note though that there is no scheduled WOD for Thursday, so anyone coming in will have to have an idea of what they would like to work on. A coach will be present for help with whatever you’re looking to put together. Please keep in mind that there will be other people in the class when you plan out your workout (ie. space, equipment, clock, running, rowers, etc)

No Idea Sports has announced a LAST CALL for Dodgeball and Kickball teams and has also opened up early registration for Winter teams! Visit if you’re interested in getting in on the action!

Monday – benchmark (Fran re-test)
Tuesday – skill work + long metcon
Wednesday – short strength (power cleans)
Thursday – open gym (no scheduled workout)
Friday – strength (front squat + press)
Saturday – Intro to CrossFit (individuals) @ 8:00am; Intro to CrossFit (partner WOD) @ 9:00am
