Week of February 17th

First off, the showing of support at our Grand Opening yesterday was tremendous. We had over 40 people give the workout a shot, we collected 6 boxes of food for the Market Street Mission, and had just about 0 beer left. That definite equals a success in our book! Thank you, thank you, thank you to our families, our friends, and all the new faces who took the time to come check us out, especially during the shoddy weather conditions. The Paleo Challenge has officially begun! Hopefully you have brought your “bulking phase” to a close, as it is now time to get primal. I will be posting regular recipes, articles and helpful hints on the topic throughout the month, so keep an eye on the daily post for links. And just a heads up … eating pizza at 1:00am the night before the challenge starts is officially a cheat. The clock determines the day, not your sleep schedule.

The Rowing Fran Sprint is upon us once again! Last seen around these parts on January 9th, we have been building up our skills over the past 30 days to see how much (not if) we can improve our time! Fran will be waiting for you all day on Thursday … don’t avoid her! Come in and see where you are at. Time to PR!
