Week of July 21st

There has been a lot of great activity going on outside the gym recently: Nisha ran the Verizon 5k in Morristown, Liz was running at altitude in Colorado, Christy completed the NJ State Olympic Distance Triathlon, and Team Powerful (JVags, TOJ, Doyle and DT) competed in the Battle of the Burbs at CrossFit Caldwell. The goal of CrossFit is always to make our lives better outside of the gym whether it be better cardio, more energy, stronger, faster, etc. … so I hope all of our members see their training here as just that: the ability to live happier and healthier lives every day with your families. Keep it up!

And I hope everyone wish JVags a happy 32nd birthday!

Monday – skill work + long metcon
Tuesday – short strength (back squat) + short metcon
Wednesday – skill work + long metcon
Thursday – benchmark
Friday – strength (push jerk and deadlift)
Saturday – Intro to CrossFit (individuals) @ 8:00am; Intro to CrossFit (partner WOD) @ 9:00am
