bench press 5 @ 75%, 5 @ 80%, 5 @ 85% of your 1RM
then
1RM push jerk

CK sent over a NY Times article entitled “What’s Your Fitness Age?” and among other things it discusses a Norwegian study that collected data from a large number of individuals ages 20 to 90 and formed an equation that helped you determine what your “fitness age” was. The age is primarily determined based on your VO2Max, or how you take in and utilize oxygen. It indicates your current cardiovascular endurance. The study eventually found a correlation between those test subjects with a low fitness age, a high VO2Max and if they ended up dying earlier than expected. Pretty interesting stuff.

In a nut shell … exercise will help you live longer.

The research team also developed this fitness age test to let others see what their fitness age is based on information you can put in. Check it out!
