As our community grows larger, and folks get more and more familiar with each other, it is only natural to start comparing ourselves with times and weights from previous classes and athletes around us. The Tabata Times recently posted an article called “5 Whiteboard Misconceptions Ruining Your CrossFit Experience” and it reinforces that your daily WOD should be you vs. you. Competition is natural, and healthy (most of the time), but just remember that what the person next to you lifted is not helping or hurting you. Track your workouts closely, keep making gains and remember that progress is slow, especially when weights are involved, but it will come with persistence and dedication. Your own persistence and dedication.
