We decided to branch out this year and try a local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), so we’ve been getting some interesting produce we’ve never cooked with before. We have two strategies for dealing with new produce: 1) sautee with olive oil and salt and pepper (Courtesy of Craig Frankel) 2) Google a recipe.

This week, we got red cabbage in our food share, turned to Google for help, and came across this delicious gem. Don’t be afraid to branch out and buy vegetables that are foreign to you, especially with the farmer’s market in town. The results can be delicious.
