Strength:
5RM front squat

WOD:
1000m row (time trial)

Our test for November will be a 1000m row, so look for rowing to pop up at least once a week during the month of November to see how much we can improve both our technique and time in the next 30 days.

I saw this link about knee health, and I was reminded about how many members have been asking me about knee sleeves, if they’re helpful and what they actually do. I came to use my knee sleeves because I started to have knee pain, but they don’t necessarily need to be something you use to combat pain. Quite the opposite in fact, as they can be used to keep your knees warm, help with blood flow, and the compression helps to push out fluid and lactic acid from the joints which can be the cause of pain and inflammation. With our 7 weeks of squats coming up, if you’re looking to make some serious gains with your squat weight, a pair of Rehband knee sleeves may not be a bad investment.
