As the food industry becomes more aware that a larger population of people are seeking out a better-made product, they are going to do whatever they can to entice you to still buy their current products, or newer products coming out on the market. And one of the big buzz words being used is “natural” … which this NY Times article discusses. The term “gluten-free” is another buzz word being slapped on all kinds of products right now. Unless you have bought it before, and know you can trust the packaging, please take a closer look at the ingredients to make sure you’re not being mis-lead, or in some cases that I have seen, openly lied to.
